Morningside of Williamsburg is working in conjunction with the Colonial Heritage Community Foundation on several projects - namely the First Annual Charity Golf Classic.  This also ties in with our construction theme as we are slated for a major building renovation beginning in October.
The CHCF is a non-profit organization committed to building the community by working with its partners to enhance efforts to make Colonial Heritage and the Williamsburg area a place for all residents to live and contribute to thier community, no matter what their age, health or physical ability.
The foundation hosts numerous educational and training programs for caregivers and community members on a wide range of subjects.  For information on the CHCF go to www.chcfonline.org

Congratulations to Morningside's Food Service Director, David Dunkle, Jr., for coming in as runner up in the Health Journal's "Holiday Lites" contest. His recipe for Reduced-Calorie Pumpkin Cheesecake was featured in the journal as well as on their website, www.thehealthjournals.com.

Perfect Score!

June 13, 2012

Congratulations to Morningside of Williamsburg for a perfect score from state inspectors in our Kitchen for the last FIVE YEARS!

Based on the stringent requirements designed to create the utmost level of health, safety and care for assisted living communities, this achievement is extremely difficult to attain.

In addition, state inspectors are now using our kitchen at Morningside of Williamsburg to train their new inspectors.

We are proud of this accomplishment and congratulate our Food Services Director David Dunkle, the kitchen staff, and all involved in helping acheive this goal.  At Morningside of Wililamsburg, we will continue to be committed to providing our residents with excellence in quality and care!
