~ former Burgermaister for Busch Gardens ~
Mr. Bauman's 95th Birthday!

Resident Bob Bauman was the original Burgermaister at Busch Gardens, for more than 25 years where he worked weekends performing at 4 to 5 shows per day at Das Festhaus in his traditional lederhosen. On his 95th birthday this August, Bob's family and friends came to Morningside to honor this great man. Entertainment was provided by Busch Gardens' Das Festhaus Polka Band and dancers, who performed traditional German songs and dances for the guests, with Mr. Bauman helping lead the crowd in many songs including Edelweiss.

In addition to his days at Busch Gardens, Mr. Bauman is retired Army, and a husband, father and grandfather.
